After the release of Spectre, Daniel Craig was ready to take off the tux and call it a night. Then came all the hype over who could possibly fill the shoes of Craig for Bond 25 we got got news it would in fact be Craig wearing his own shoes.
Creative differences between Sam Mendes was rumoured to be the reason for Craig originally calling it quits, but with Mendes stepping away from the camera for Bond 25, Barbara Brocolli has reportedly been able to snag up Craig for two more films upping him up to 6 Bonds in total, that’s a lot of ab potential.
Let’s not forget that nothing is confirmed as of yet, but it sounds like he has signed a new deal. The underlying thing here though is should Craig still be Bond or is there someone better? Was this the right time and the right way for Daniel Craig to step aside, or will he push it with two more films and no longer be the fan favourite he is? Bond has a release date of Nov 2019 even though there has been no cast or director announcement, the studio has said that there will be news to come soon.
