Well before this, it was only a pipe dream, but this makes it official. Jeff Goldblum has returned to play David Levinson and once again save earth in Independence Day 2. Get pumped people!

Independence Day 2 takes place 20 years after the original movie, with the aliens returning to again try and destroy the human race. Sadly missing from the cast is Will Smith, personally for me Smith was at the top of his game in the original and brought a lot of the charm that made it an instant classic. However the king of motivational speeches, Bill Pullman is back as now Ex President Whitmore.
This will be huge when its finally released, even though I’m not American I find it hard not to give this a play every year on July 4th.
INDEPENDENCE DAY 2 opens June 23rd. I would love to see a teaser for it this July 4
