Aaron Paul’s Girl has Gone Missing in the Trailer for ‘Come and Find Me’

I love the false start to this trailer, I don’t think I’ve seen the technique used in a Thriller before where they mislead you right off the bat.  So I wasn’t too surprised when I found out that this film was written and directed by Zack Whedon, younger brother of Joss who seems to have his brother’s genre twisting sense of humour.  This is Zack’s first feature although he’s written for many TV shows such as Halt and Catch Fire, Southland and Deadwoodscreen-shot-2016-10-25-at-11-09-39-amAaron Paul stars alongside Annabelle Wallis as the perfect couple whose world is turned upside down.  Even with a few lead roles under his belt I don’t think Aaron Paul has quite moved away from his TV persona but this movie looks like it could be the one to help him crack the Breaking Bad mould.   Although I am concerned that when I watch this movie I’ll be expecting him to finish every sentence with ‘Bitch’.  Many people will see a similarity with Gone Girl but I think it’s a completely different story, although it does make me want to re watch Kiefer Sutherland in 1993’s ‘The Vanishing’.  Let us know what you think in the comments section below.  Here’s the official synopsis:

“David (Aaron Paul) and Claire’s (Annabelle Wallis) idyllic relationship comes to an abrupt and mysterious end after Claire disappears without a trace. Devastated but incapable of letting go, David follows her trail down a frantic and increasingly dangerous path. Shocked at discovering Claire was living a double life, he’s forced to risk everything if he ever wants to see her again.”

‘Come and Find Me’ is released in US Cinemas on November 11
