With Transformers The Last Knight crashing into cinemas tomorrow, we thought that we’d take a look at the Bayhem from behind the camera. Paramount Pictures has released two short featurettes about the making of the film, highlighting both the IMAX and 3D elements of the film.
First up is the IMAX one, which promises a big experience (but this is a Michael Bay film, so that was probably guaranteed anyway). Makes you wish they hadn’t closed down the IMAX in Sydney doesn’t it!
I must admit that I’m not the biggest fan of 3D movies, but a huge pet peeve of mine is when movies do the change in post and try to fake the 3D. Refreshingly, it seems like Bay is going for the real deal:
Regardless of what you think of Bay as a director, the guy knows his way around a camera, and the passion for the medium and the cinematic experience shines through.
You’ll be able to see for yourself when TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT explodes into theatres tomorrow. When you’ve seen it, come back here or on our Facebook page, and let us know if it’s any good!
