The quote of a generation! Have you ever wanted to see the cult films of your childhood BACK on the big screen? Well Event Cinemas is bringing back their In The House cult movie screening across Australia!
Some of cinema’s most celebrated titles are set to return to the big screen at Event Cinemas George Street, Event Cinemas Marion, Event Cinemas Innaloo, Event Cinemas Myer City and Event Cinemas Kotara with the launch of the highly anticipated ‘Season 0.1’!
This time around they have even more films and more ‘In The House’ experiences. Featuring landmark films at their finest, the series will herald the return to the big screen some of the greatest cult classics of the last 40 years. In The House-rs will be treated to films such as Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (3 February), their School Holiday Special E.T. – The Extra-Terrestrial (14 April) and The Godfather – Part II (12 May) the way that they were meant to be seen, on the big screen!
Other films touted to make their silver screen comeback include Stand By Me (2 March), Fight Club (31 March) and Edward Scissorhands (9 June). The festival will also re-introduce a new generation to sci-fi and action classics in TWO highly anticipated double screenings with the classic The Fly and Gattaca on February 17th and RoboCop and Flash Gordon on April 28th!
At George St, regular hosts Channel 7’s Jason “Jabba” Davis and David “Quinny” Quinn from Supanova will completely entertain you in their pre-show. With much fun to be had and many prizes to be won in every installment, revisit the flicks that shaped a generation!
