After hearing the news a few months ago that the cast of DC’s upcoming Suicide Squad movie had tattooed each other with “SKWAD”, it would be a no brainer to guess that the cast were all pretty close, but apparently not!

In an interview on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 Radio Show, Will Smith has spoken about his experiences on set and in particular, about his relationship with Jared Leto saying:

“I’ve never actually met Jared Leto. We worked together for 6 months and we’ve never exchanged a word outside of ‘Action!’ and ‘Cut!’ We’ve never said ‘Hello,’ we’ve never said ‘Good day.’ I’ve only ever spoken to him as Deadshot and him as the Joker. I literally have not met him yet. So, the first time I see him will be ‘Hey, Jared. What’s up?’

Not a single word exchanged off camera. He was all in on the Joker…I’m looking forward to meeting him.”

Smith’s comments pretty much echo those of Margot Robbie who told the NY Daily News back in August that she “was actually petrified of him” – with reviews like that, and the dark past of the role, it’s no wonder that David Ayer employed a therapist on set!
