OUR VERDICT
Trailer:
Why you should care: Marvel’s newest cinematic hero takes the MCU into a mystical realm. The cast is good, the effects are amazing, and you’ll be pleasantly surprised to find that it’s better than the trailers make it seem. Go see this Doctor, you won’t be sorry.
Who should see it: Disciples of Marvel
Hell Or High Water
Starring: Chris Pine, Ben Foster, Jeff Bridges, Gil Birmingham
Synopsis: After years of estrangement, Texan brothers Toby (Chris Pine) and Tanner (Ben Foster) decide to rob the branches of the bank threatening to foreclose on their family land. For them, the hold-ups are part of a last-ditch scheme to take back a future that was stolen from under them. Vengeance seems to be theirs until they find themselves on the radar of Marcus (Jeff Bridges), a Ranger looking for one last grand pursuit on the eve of his retirement, and his partner Alberto (Gil Birmingham).

Why you should care: This looks like a real slow burn. It’s a nice change of pace for blockbuster pin-up Pine, and looks to fit both Ben Foster and Jeff Bridges like a glove. A killer cast and hopefully a good enough story to hang off them. Could definitely be worth it.
Who should see it: Risk takers
