What To Watch this Weekend – August 4-7

With so much grabbing for your attention and dollars these days, it’s easy to miss when the latest releases are heading to a cinema near you. So come back every week as we here at So, Is It Any Good? preview the new movies hitting screens, and give you the lowdown on what to watch this weekend.

This weekend we start off with something a little special, Event Cinemas George Street continues their 2016 season of cult classics with their In The House screening of Donnie Darko. Can a team a villains worked together to overcome a greater threat in Suicide Squad? And lastly, we see if old friends come back together to recreate what they used to have in Absolutely Fabulous.

Why you should care: Event Cinemas George Street’s In The House cult film festival is back for another year, and the second release from this season is the insanely good Donnie Darko. For a measly $13 you can check out one of best cult films ever, and the one that launched Jake Gyllenhaal to Hollywood stardom.

Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie
