Anyone else feel like that would have been Russell Crowe’s full time job if he never took up acting?
Shane Black has written some great films in the past and directed even better ones including Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and this looks to continue that tradition, but speaking of tradition where is his Christmas setting? Every movie Black has had his hands on is set at Christmas but I cant see a shed of Christmas cheer here. Crowe and Gosling appear to be a fun pairing here along with the 70’s backdrop This looks like a great buddy cop film in the making. Did you see that guy smash to little iddy bits, blurggh
Here’s the official synopsis
The Nice Guys” takes place in 1970s Los Angeles, when down-on-his-luck private eye Holland March (Gosling) and hired enforcer Jackson Healy (Crowe) must work together to solve the case of a missing girl and the seemingly unrelated death of a porn star. During their investigation, they uncover a shocking conspiracy that reaches up to the highest circles of power.
