THE HIDDEN TRUTH BEHIND STAR WARS

I’ve always seen these films as a battle between good and evil. Screen Rant delves into that theory and throws it on its head. Did we overlook a crucial story arc in the Prequels? Was there a hidden meaning that we all missed? How does this theory hold up against what we already know? Check out Screen Rant’s The Hidden Truth of Star Wars:

Maybe George Lucas was on to something with the prequels – a quest for balance, for family and love. The story arcs do align through out the series, and the characters do follow the same path, so this theory makes a lot of sense. In a way it opens up a chance to rethink my thoughts on the prequel trilogy. While the execution of those films will never be fixed, the idea behind them could brighten the future of the franchise.

I agree with the final thoughts of the video. JJ Abrams did take a lot of flak for the direction he took The Force Awakens but looking at this and comparing the ideas through out the franchise, the connections have always been made, and that direction appears to be the only way it was ever going to go.

Should we expect a retread of Attack Of The Clones and Empire Strikes Back with Episode VIII or do you think that since they have pleased fans with The Force Awakens they will take the franchise in a new direction? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
