‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ Set Footage Leaks Online

Brace yourselves Star Wars nerds… we might have a new glimpse of The Last Jedi and it gives us a look at the elusive Luke Skywalker. The video was shot by a sneaky fan on a visit to the Last Jedi set in Ireland last year and has just now found its way online, and it’s obviously making some waves.

Obviously, this is a rough video, and from pretty far away, but it seems to show a figure in a long robe (presumably Luke) on top of a giant boulder. Now here comes the rumour part. According to Youtuber Mike Zeroh, this shot is Luke meditating on a levitating rock which is a rumoured scene that will be included in the next trailer for the film. Check out his thoughts on the scene and more about the second trailer for Jedi:

I like the idea of a levitating Luke, it’s a nice callback to his training on Dagobah in Empire Strikes Back, and shows just how much his powers have increased in the 30+ years since. I’m excited to see what the Luke and Rey scenes of Jedi entail, and if we are indeed getting a new trailer next week then I can’t wait. December can’t come soon enough!

STAR WARS EPISODE VIII: THE LAST JEDI levitates into theatres December 14.
