Star Wars fans were met with a nice surprise this morning as JJ Abrams/Lucasfilm have revealed that the first teaser trailer for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” will appear in select movie theatres over the Thanksgiving Weekend in the US.
JJ Abrams tweeted the above note, which includes the running time of the trailer of 88 seconds. Rumours have been floating that John Williams has written a specific piece of score for the trailer.
The official Star Wars website states that the rest of the world will see the teaser sometime in December, but we’ve reached out to Event Cinema’s and Disney Studios AU for any comment on when/what/where Australian fans may be able to view.
