Don’t you just love it when Art imitates Art? Ever since The Simpsons first launched when I was Bart’s age, I’ve always loved the movie references that they would sneak into an episode. 
Some have been more subtle than others but the one that really sticks in my mind is the Citizen Kane homage, which completely gave away the plot twist for me. Anyway, a fellow movie nut has compiled a montage pairing homage with source.
