20th Century Fox has dropped the second trailer for Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children from director Tim Burton and starring Eva Green, Asa Butterfield and Chris O’Dowd.
Here’s the official synopsis
From visionary director Tim Burton, and based upon the best-selling novel, comes an unforgettable motion picture experience. When Jake discovers clues to a mystery that spans alternate realities and times, he uncovers a secret refuge known as Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. As he learns about the residents and their unusual abilities, Jake realizes that safety is an illusion, and danger lurks in the form of powerful, hidden enemies. Jake must figure out who is real, who can be trusted, and who he really is.
There is just something about this film that doesn’t interest me. Not only does it look like Tim Burton’s version of the X-Men, but it also reminds me of the string of Twilight ‘like’ films we had a couple years back. Films like Beautiful Creatures and Mortal Instruments and do you even remember those? It does sound like a good idea, but it’s just too little too late.
Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children opens in Australia on September 29th 2016
