It’s with great sadness that we wish to report the death of film composer James Horner. The Oscar winning composer was killed in a tragic plane crash in California on Monday. James Horner, a keen aviator, was piloting the aircraft at the time.
James Horner has produced numerous amazing scores throughout his lifetime, including frequent collaborations with James Cameron which delivered him the Oscar for best score in 1997 for Titanic. His scores always tugged at the heartstrings, across a number of film genres. Aliens, Titanic, Willow, The Rocketeer, Star Trek The Wrath of Khan, The Land Before Time, Braveheart… it really is an impressive body of work.
