007 fans will be mourning the loss of one of the greatest icons to grace our screens. Roger Moore passed away on Tuesday with his family taking to twitter to share the news.
“It is with a heavy heart that we must announce our loving father, Sir Roger Moore, has passed away today in Switzerland after a short but brave battle with cancer”
Moore played the iconic spy in 7 of the most popular and memorable films of the 007 franchise. Octopussy, The Man With The Golden Gun, Moonraker, For Your Eyes Only, The Spy Who Loved Me, and Live And Let Die. His last film in espionage was in 1985’s A View To Kill, where he starred alongside Christopher Walken and was directed by 007 alum John Glen.
Moore will leave behind a legacy that will forever be remembered.
