Good morning true believers (OK I’m not Stan Lee but their has been some sweet superhero trailers this week) Fox and Marvel have attempted to combat the DC overload this week with 2 new trailers for Fantastic Four

First is the Final US Trailer

Second is the Final International Trailer

Man, after some solid superhero trailers this week is anyone else feeling a little underwhelmed here. I’m a big comic book nerd, I’ll take anything Hollywood throws at me comic book movie wise. This however just doesn’t feel like a comic book movie. I can’t yet put my finger on it, but it could be the lack of style, or the lack of costumes but this iteration of Marvel’s Fantastic Four just seems off.

Parts of the trailer seem cool, the Powers look rad and I dig that they are changing up the origin story a bit but does it feel like there is an overall lack of big action sequences, I mean we are definitely seeing some punching and power transformations but most of it looks like its contained either in the military base while training or in the inter dimensional portal where they receive their powers. I guess we’ll just have to wait until opening day because these suckers are our last looks

Here is the official synopsis
