Eggsy’s Back For More Mayhem In The First Trailer For ‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle’

It’s here! 20th Century Fox has finally put an end to the teasing and waiting and unleashed the first trailer for their highly anticipated spy action sequel Kingsman: The Golden Circle. Check it out above by clicking the play button in the header. Go on, I’ll wait.

Here’s the official synopsis:

“Kingsman: The Secret Service” introduced the world to Kingsman – an independent, international intelligence agency operating at the highest level of discretion, whose ultimate goal is to keep the world safe. In “Kingsman: The Golden Circle,” our heroes face a new challenge. When their headquarters are destroyed and the world is held hostage, their journey leads them to the discovery of an allied spy organization in the US called Statesman, dating back to the day they were both founded. In a new adventure that tests their agents’ strength and wits to the limit, these two elite secret organizations band together to defeat a ruthless common enemy, in order to save the world, something that’s becoming a bit of a habit for Eggsy…

Right then, as far as first trailers go this is exactly what I like, brief flashes of the awesomeness to come, without giving anything much away as to what’s going to go down once I head to the cinema. We get flashes of all the main cast members (and there’s a lot for this sequel), including returning players Taron Egerton, Mark Strong and Sophie Cookson, as well as newcomers Channing Tatum, Julianne Moore, Halle Berry and even Jeff freakin’ Bridges. There looks to be some set pieces that will definitely bring the bang for your buck, although I’m not sure how they’re going to top the church shootout from the first movie, that scene was EPIC.The biggest reveal comes at the end of the trailer when we see in fact that Colin Firth will officially be joining in for what will undoubtedly be one of the craziest and most entertaining actioners this year. Eat that Fate Of The Furious. There, I said it.

KINGSMAN: THE GOLDEN CIRCLE launches into theatres September 28, 2017.
