“I’ve always wanted to be a Dad, and let me tell you I love it!”

Looking more like Ferrell myself I couldn’t imagine having to up against Mark Walhberg, I’d have thrown in the towel before he set foot off the plane. This appears to be pretty funny, Mark Walhberg has been doing some great comedies recently (The Happening was a comedy right?) and Will Ferrell is well holding on by a loose thread, I mean he hasn’t fallen into the depths of Adam Sandler hell, but I feel like he isn’t far off. However a big part of me still likes Mr Burgundy I think he has a few left in him, but I just think he is at that point in his career where it could go either way.

Daddy’s Home is directed by Sean Anders and John Morris the team behind Horrible Bosses 2 and That’s My Boy… It’s not looking good is it? Let’s give it the benifit of the doubt till it hits the screens, the trailer sells it enough for me to get me in the cinema, hopefully it holds up!

Here is the (tiny but slightly adequate) synopsis:

When a divorced guy’s ex-wife re-marries someone way more uptight, he re-enters her life and wreaks havoc.

DADDY’S HOME opens December 26 in Australia.
