Blade Runner 2049 is out today and if you’re anything like me, you’re counting down the hours until your movie session. The sequel to the 1982 flawed masterpiece Blade Runner, Harrison Ford returns as Rick Deckard alongside Ryan Gosling, Jared Leto, Ana de Armas, Robin Wright and Dave Bautista.
Denis Villeneuve (Arrival, Sicario, Prisoners) takes over directing from Ridley Scott, who is sticking around as a producer.
Blade Runner 2049 has been absolutely killing it with trailers. They give away next to nothing in terms of plot or spoilers, which is much appreciated.
Not to mention the behind the scenes featurette that gets me all types of hyped.
Everything I’ve seen about Blade Runner 2049 is getting me excited for the movie. The look and feel of the original looks to be perfectly recaptured here.
