Turtles fans rejoice! In a slow movie news week, we just received confirmation via Omlete that producers Brad Fuller and Andrew Form are adding 90’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle series favourites Bebop and Rocksteady to the line up of villains for the sequel to Ninja Turtles. Here’s the quote from Andrew Form
“We can say that Bebop and Rocksteady are secured, and Casey Jones is a character we like a lot and we are trying to snap it also “
As some of you might know the above image was leaked earlier this year from concept art from the first movie, however in that case the characters were left for the cutting room floor. For the most part the recent Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles flick has copped a lot of flack, but for a movie that was trying to please everyone from 5 year old kids to 40 something old school fans I think they a pretty great job. Adding these fan favourites to the mix is sure to please older fans like myself and ensure their butts are firmly placed in the cinema seats on opening weekend.
