Warner Bros and DC have just dropped the final trailer for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice starring Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck.
This is an action-packed trailer with Ben Affleck’s version of Batman taking the lead. We learn that he has been doing this gig for a while, he’s getting old but can still pack a punch. After watching metropolis crumble, Bruce Wayne feels that he needs to remove the threat that has been terrorizing his city, the alien Superman played by Henry Cavill.
This is the trailer is everything we should have got in the last trailer. No massive spoilers and look into the characters and why the need to go head to head. This is the battle of the gods trailer that we wanted before we were introduced to Doomsday.
It’s hard to tell whether this will be the superhero film of the decade or just another DC film that falls to the wayside like Green Lantern. Don’t get me wrong I want this to be great. I feel like DC and Warner need this to be a hit, just part of me thinks that they are rushing into this battle. A standalone Batman film before this might have been the way. Either way this is one my most anticipated films of the year and I’ll have my butt firmly placed in a cinema on opening day.
