ART OF MOVIES – IKEA MOVIE MONSTERS

How to make your very own movie monster, the Ikea way.

Illustrator Ed Harrington shows us what it would take to create some of cinema’s most iconic bad guys (if they were created by the Swedish furniture giants).  Even though the designs may look simple, I imagine each one would have taken some time create.  There’s a great sense of humour in this collection, especially the title of each character.  In most of the illustrations he has managed to tell the story of the film, or at least the key moments that help define them.  He has an interesting collection of movie themed art that you can geek out to here.

What do you think?  Would you leave them in the box or are they worth all the blisters and swear words that it would take to put them together.  Let me know in the comments section below.
