Big Stars Get Scared In Space With The New Trailer For ‘Life’

We’ve found life on another planet, the only problem, it doesn’t seem to like us very much.  Sony Pictures have released the first intense trailer for ‘Life’, not to be confused with their other space drama ‘Passengers’.  Director Daniel Espinosa (Safe House) takes a dark look at space exploration with a bloody cool cast lining up to be E.T.’s dinner.  On the menu are Ryan Reynolds, Jake Gyllenhaal, Rebecca Ferguson, Olga Dihovichnaya, Ariyon Bakare and Hiroyuki Sanada.  Here’s the synopsis:

“Life tells the story of the six-member crew of the International Space Station that is on the cutting edge of one of the most important discoveries in human history: the first evidence of extra-terrestrial life on Mars. As the crew begins to conduct research, their methods end up having unintended consequences and the life form proves more intelligent than anyone ever expected.”intense-trailer-for-the-ryan-reynolds-and-jake-gyllenhaal-sci-fi-thriller-life-socialI’m pumped for another Alien style thriller, which I hope wont be one of those movies where the chief protagonists makes dumb decisions… like poking the new lifeform with their finger (see Prometheus).

Life is released in Aussie cinemas May 11

And Memorial Day in the US
