Here’s the new Red Band trailer for Paramount’s reboot of Baywatch. I guess we’ve had The A-Team, 21 Jump Street, Dukes of Hazzard, Miami Vice, Transformers, and even Jem And The Holograms, so why not remake another 80’s show?
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is donning David ‘The Hoff’ Hasselhoff’s speedos, taking over the role of Mitch Buchannon (and boy are they some mighty big budgie smugglers to fill!). Joining The Hoff, who at 63 still looks like he can hold his own is Pamela Anderson. However she won’t be returning as, C.J. Parker… Kelly Rohrbach has taken over the role of running in slow motion holding the red life saver thingy.
Here’s the official synopsis:
Baywatch follows devoted lifeguard Mitch Buchannon (Johnson) as he butts heads with a brash new recruit (Efron). Together, they uncover a local criminal plot that threatens the future of the Bay.
This movie looks like good old fashioned “tongue-in-cheek” fun, with plenty of pretty people doing stupid things.
BAYWATCH is in Aussie cinemas May 11, and May 19 in the US.
