Well, it’s Friday somewhere in the world so that means it’s time for another Fan Film Fridays. This week we sign up for the night with a fan film based on the highly regarded video game Five Nights At Freddy’s. 
Once you get past the 3-minute opening scene, which looks like it was taken from a low budget porno, Five Nights At Freddy’s kicks into overdrive. I loved seeing the TV Commercial from Freddy’s, and the 80’s nostalgia and cheese were the perfect touches that the film needed to keep me invested.
Filmmakers Ironhorse Cinema knows their material. The fan film hits the perfect amount of beats that you will recognize straight from the game but it adds enough new ideas that expand upon the world of Freddy’s, even if it could have used a couple more unique jump scares or suspenseful moments.
